A Century of Taste Inside Historic Mochi Gate
A century of mastery began inside the ancient Walled City of Lahore when Master Baker Baba Umar first ignited the traditional clay hearth at Chohta Mufti Baqar, perfecting an exclusive family formulation for almond nankhatai that had already been cherished for two generations.
A hundred years on, the tandoor still burns every dawn, the recipes remain strictly unaltered, and every biscuit is hand-shaped by craftsmen trained in our own kitchens. We measure our century of success by the grandparents who bring their grandchildren to taste the exact same khatai they enjoyed in their childhood — finding it utterly unchanged.
